Ive pretty much loved reptiles since i was young, but when i got my very own Iguana 5 years ago, my love for them just blossomed (and blossomed some more, because gosh iguanas are just the best creatures!)

Iguana spotlight #1- Osiris
Osiris is a 3 1/2 -4 year old Iguana purchased at a local Petland July 7, 2009 at approx 6 months old. Part of his tail was burned off, was wild and underfed. After about 8 months to a year later he was finally calm enough to be handled, and now enjoys lots of pets, and walks on his special leash. Osiris helps educate others about Iguanas by making frequent visits to schools, and other such events.
Fondest memory- When he sits on my side or shoulder, while I’m working.
Least favorable memory- I almost lost him, when his UVB light set fire to my room.
